TODAY TONIGHT ADELAIDE
Aired Thursday 2nd July 2009
 Adelaide's Today Tonight programme filmed a segment about Adelaide's 'Kooky' Collectors. I was featured along with other Adelaide collectors for the story. Filming took place on the Tuesday and the story went to air on the Thursday night. I have captured and uploaded the video to YouTube so press play on the clip below to view the video.
 

MOVIE NEWS
-A live action CGI Smurfs movie is currently in production set for a cinema release on the 3rd August 2011 in America & the UK. Australian release date is 15th September 2011. Cast includes Neil Patrick Harris (human lead), Hank Azaria (Gargamel), Jayma Mays (female lead), Katy Perry (Smurfette), Alan Cumming (Gutsy Smurf), George Lopez (Grouchy Smurf) & Johnathan Winters (Papa Smurf). The story is said to take place in Central Park in New York City and centres around the happy expectant couple (Harris & Mays) lives being turned upside-down upon meeting the blue creatures when Gargamel chases the Smurfs out of their world & into ours. Directed by Raja Gosnell for Sony Pictures. Filming has begun & here are some exclusive photos of actor Hank Azaria as Gargamel along with Azrael below. -Magna Pacific DVD releases "The Smurfs & The Magic Flute Original Film" & "The Smurfs Favourites Collection" - the Smurfette & Papa Smurf Collection Together in One Box set. Released 1st July 2010.
UK - DVD RELEASE
-Complete Series 1 & Series 2 coming out on DVD.

-Finally here is the 3rd update which covers the last of my holiday Smurfy treasures. So I'm now up-to-date with cataloguing all the new smurfs in my collection.... for now :) Some of my most favourite items are in this update. Completing the Trudi plush smurfs is the one I was missing Handy Smurf. Thankyou so much to Michelle! I'm so happy to have them all. Also I brought the Play Along Brainy Smurf beanie in a shop in London! Plus another favourite here is the Christmas Smurf squeak toy brought from a collector shop in Ghent called "Gadget".
